After a leisurely Halloween morning in Darwin, we are off to Kakadu, where the high today is forecasted to be 110. It’s a very balmy 90 now at 10 am on Wednesday. We have seen a bunch of indigenous people, who they call aboriginal. We cannot photograph them as they do not remember their dead at all. Based on that they do not like photos as they know some day they will be dead, but the photos may not be destroyed. Other unusual beliefs, they have never had a god or higher being in any of their beliefs, they have no personal belongings as everything belongs to everyone in the tribe. Their artistry is gorgeous. They learned this form of dot art in the 1940’s or 50’s where they make beautiful creations, again, you cannot photograph it unless you buy it.
